Here’s a template for a food cooking contract:

FOOD COOKING CONTRACT

This Food Cooking Contract (the “Contract”) is made and entered into as of [Date], by and between [Name of Cook/Company], with an address of [Address] (the “Cook”), and [Name of Client], with an address of [Address] (the “Client”).

RECITALS

WHEREAS, the Cook is in the business of preparing and delivering food to clients; and

WHEREAS, the Client desires to engage the Cook to prepare food for [Insert description of event, occasion or purpose], (the “Event”).

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained herein, the parties agree as follows:

1. Services to Be Performed. The Cook agrees to prepare the food for the Event and deliver it to the location specified by the Client. The food shall be prepared in accordance with the menu agreed upon by the parties, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
2. Payment. The Client shall pay the Cook the amount of [Insert amount] for the services rendered pursuant to this Contract. Payment shall be due and payable upon the delivery of the food to the Client.
3. Changes to the Menu. Any changes to the menu must be agreed upon in writing by the parties.
4. Cancellation. In the event the Client cancels the Event, the Client shall be responsible for paying the Cook a cancellation fee equal to [Insert amount or percentage of total payment].
5. Indemnification. The Client agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Cook, its officers, employees, agents and contractors from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, arising out of or in connection with the performance of this Contract.
6. Limitation of Liability. In no event shall either party be liable to the other for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with this Contract, whether or not such damages were foreseeable or whether the party against whom such damages are sought has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Governing Law. This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the [Insert governing law jurisdiction].
8. Entire Agreement. This Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements between the parties, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof.
