Gas Piping Contract

This contract (“Agreement”) is made and entered into on [date] by and between [Client Name], located at [Client Address] (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”), and [Contractor Name], located at [Contractor Address] (hereinafter referred to as the “Contractor”).

The Client desires to have gas piping installed at [Project Address] (hereinafter referred to as the “Project Site”). The Contractor agrees to perform the work in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.

Scope of Work

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the installation of gas piping at the Project Site. The work to be performed under this Agreement shall include, but not be limited to:

1. Inspection of existing gas piping and connections to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
2. Installation of gas piping and related fittings and connections in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations.
3. Testing of gas piping and connections to ensure proper operation and safety.
4. Obtaining all necessary permits and inspections required for the work.

Payment

The Client agrees to pay the Contractor the sum of [Total Cost] for the work described in this Agreement. Payment shall be made in [Installment] installments as follows:

1. [First Installment Amount] upon execution of this Agreement.
2. [Second Installment Amount] upon completion of [Milestone 1].
3. [Third Installment Amount] upon completion of [Milestone 2].

The work described in this Agreement shall be completed in a timely and efficient manner. The Contractor shall use reasonable efforts to complete the work by the following milestones:

Warranty

Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement upon written notice to the other party if the other party materially breaches any provision of this Agreement and fails to cure such breach within [Cure Period] days of receipt of written notice specifying the breach.

Indemnification

The Contractor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Client from any and all claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with the Contractor’s performance of the work described in this Agreement, except to the extent such claims, damages, losses, or expenses are caused by the Client’s negligence or willful misconduct.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of [Governing Law State].

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of this Agreement.

Execution

This Agreement may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, but all of which together shall constitute one and the same instrument. This Agreement may be executed and delivered by facsimile or electronic mail and shall be binding upon the parties and their respective heirs, successors, and assigns.
